Description
Rayon is a manufactured fiber composed of regenerated cellulose in which substitutes have replaced not more than 15% of the hydrogens of the hydroxyl groups.

| Resistance to Sunlight | No discoloration. Long-term exposure causes loss of tensile that is worse as the TiO2 level increases. |
| General | Good abrasion resistance. Attacked by mildew. Acids and alkalis may weaken or swell fibers. |
