Description

Nylon is a synthetic fiber composed of a long chain of polyamide in which less than 85% of the amide linkages are attached to two atomic rings.

Effect of Heat Sticks at 423°F (217°C); Melts at 482°F (250°C)
Acceptance of Dye Receptive to a wide variety of dyestuffs.
Resistance to Sunlight Prolonged exposure causes degradation and yellowing
General Excellent abrasion resistance. Resistant to mildew. Decomposes in strong acids. Unaffected by alkali.
